It's pretty easy to pick up the runts of the litter that are scavenging for scraps. They actually just got done recruiting some of those filthy mongrels a couple of days ago. Interesting coincidence. I've done more than those 2 PCs as well (before EoN.), but I'm referring to the PCs involving the DNS vs MH war, which I've had more involvement in than you ever will. Shows what you know. Everyone is sent to attack and/or defend districts at certain times, and each attack order is rotated among corps (basically taking turns), unless the leadership of that corp requests otherwise (usually due to personal vendettas). So by that logic, every person in DNS is a pet dog right? Well other than HvLP (which has only existed for a month), there hasn't been a significant member growth in DNS. You need better sources. Can you just answer my question? It's just a simple yes or no.
No, just the ones who hop on the bandwagon then pound their chest as if by joining you somehow absorbed your betters accomplishments. Those are the pet dogs. You are simply the omega male.
I already answered your question. If you were unable to read it, well, maybe you are just a useless mutt. |

Well within my two days of being here, I've played in 2 PC matches. While that's not much, it's far more involvement than what you've had in this, or ever will have. So I'll ask again. Do you have any plans on attacking us? Right. So because you've played two matches when PC is a joke, that means I've never done any PC matches when it used to be fun? Yep, you got me there sir! No.... ^ The cold hard truth.
DUST is no longer a competitive game as it was a while back. I say "competitive" but I use the term loosely. I'll put it this way, DUST right now, from what I gather, is no longer about corps battling each other for the fun of it. There's no "oh you talked smack about us? Let's fight". Nope.
It's about "LOLOLOL, WE GOT ALLZ THE ISKZ NOW BECUZ WE FARMZ ALL DAY SON!"
Nobody will attack DNS because everybody that wanted a piece of the pie, joined already or planning to join.
Sorry Robot, there's no forming an alliance to fight them because there's no one left
Just enjoy pubbing or whatever people do for fun on DUST, because PC is in all honesty, Farmville. If you enjoy farming free ISK, then PC is right up your alley. Join DNS.

I thought we wanted PC to fail so CCP could either delete all the districts or suffer unrelenting criticisms while we laugh at the p!ss-poor game design? In an unintended way DNS Black is doing us a favor with his Planetary Carebears alliance.

Yeah everyone knows it.
But in the end..... how much of an achievement is that?
Just took half a dozen on Molden Heaths PC corps bluing up, and a landslide began to get on the back of the waggon.
What we have now? One region for 4000 players? Its not big enough..... what One region of space represents...... too much ISK.
I would kill for a minimalistic system of PC....where taking systems and regions required attrition of sovereignty before the final climactic battles, each district/ planet taking a week or two to produce its goods for sale, whilch translates to ISK rather than clone pay outs.....

I agree with you for the most part but saying "No one" will attack isn't right as I hear WTF and a few others fighting sooner or later more will step up. An empire will never last forever treason, rebellion, or the empire giving up will be their downfall.. I believe treason (which will lead to rebellion) or just rebellion will be the likely fall of DNS.

I like honesty, and honest people. I appreciate the fact that you know what you don't want, and speak up about it.
EoN was a different matter. I was in EoN from the very beginning, and from the start it was never land grabbing to farm. That was never out intention, and EoN was every small when we first started. 5-6 corps if i remember correctly. Our plan was to have a space of our own. I wasn't a director or CEO, but I was in a position to know what was our deal.
But things got out of hand. At the start of PC, Orion, and CRONOS teamed up. CRONOS land grabbed as much as they possibly could, and made it very clear that farming was their objective. EoN grabbed a handful of districts...literally. Some of our corps didn't even have a district first couple days.
Even with our little amount of districts CRONOS attacked, and wanted our land. So that's when the first big war started. Our objective became to wipe Orion and CRONOS off the map. With the combined efforts of EoN and NF, Orion was gone within a week or so. Leaving CRONOS.
Now all this time, other corps had their own beef going on. HS, PHI, KEQ, STB, and a few others, so they let our war be. Nobody joined the bandwagon at that point, and the map was open for business. Which Ill Omens, or rather Nikia, saw an invitation to bite off more than he can chew. Despite other CEO's objecting to him attacking and taking more land than we needed, he still proceeded. By the time he got the boot from his own corp, and the alliance, EoN had way too much land IMO.
By that time we adopted a few smaller corps, and an alliance was formed against EoN. Little did people realize, or cared, that EoN was busy selling off land because it was too much for people to protect, and activity was low. BUT, and this is the important part, it got an alliance to form against us, which brought back people to the game. It brought me back, as at that point I gave up on DUST.
That war lasted about 2 weeks, and I'm missing out the 1 week war against HS before this. Then AE continued to attack, even though people didn't give a shite about DUST again lol.
The CEO in charge of EoN had already set a date to leave DUST, hence all the land being sold / given away. So in the end, the community got land, and they got sort of fresh start to MH. Problem was, the big blue donut was an inevitability, and DNS control of MH is the result of no competition. No competitiveness left in the DUST community.
Please note that I might have missed a couple details, and facts, but tbh, who cares. EoN was a donut but there still remained competition. DNS is a bigger donut with no competition.

Edit: I'm not complaining, or anything about what DNS did. I'm pointing out that the community has no one to blame but themselves. Either join the farming simulator, or make an alliance against them. In other words, put up, or shut up.
Damnit I have to totally agree with you twice in a row. What is New Eden coming to? usually I only agree half the time but you are making some very God points and you are 100% percent correct. Put up or shut up.

I don't much care about the argument at hand, but c'mon Atiim your statement here is just LOL worthy.

yep derrith again wrote: I do agree with you. We DNS are pretty much making it farmville. But I'm going to be honest and say that that is exactly what I want. And before you judge me for not wanting to be competitive, know that I at least have the courtesy of being honest about it. Besides, didn't Eon. do the same thing? Not trying to judge, but well.....
**** yeah, if CCP offered me free passive ISK I'd take it, just like I take the free 6K SP daily so CCP can fudge its daily log in numbers or whatever metric it uses to lie to themselves and think everything is going great here.
I'm frankly surprised it took this long to happen. I'm a realist "take it back" is basically the same sort of douchebag response as HTFU. The best thing people can probably do to show their displeasure is simply quit playing the game. Or don't care and pub away. Want to avoid DNS, quit any match where you see them and let them pub stomp against each other and the masses who don't visit the forums.

Also, what's at 1200? Dude you saying "us" after 2-3 days....not right...... The people who made DNS a power house, and group that could actually get away with saying "It's not like you are going to attack us anyway" joined months ago..... So being grammatically correct is wrong? What should I refer to DNS as then hmm? Partners? Predecessors? I knowledge that I didn't really help with anything here, but seriously. What do I address them as then if not "us"? In factional terms we would be slave masters to you.
Minmatar scum have no place in the works of DNS.
