OMG I JUST FIXED DUST!
What if you where only allowed to use one proto suit per pub match??
How this would work:
When a player makes a fit that has a proto suit, they would only be allowed to use it once in a public game. When in a public game, all fits that include proto gear will have a bold font in the spawn screen. Once you die, you can't spawn in a proto suit again. It would say "only one proto suit per contract" or something.
Any fit with a prototype gun, suit, or equipment can only be used once in a pub match. But
players can still use unlimited prototype suits in FW and PC.
Pros:
-less OP prototype suits running around
-better New Player Experience
-better balance between new and old players
-using prototype suits will feel more special, because there use in pub games is limited
-Over wealthy vets will have to adapt.
-more skill, less about bringing the best stuff into a match.
-punishes noobs who think they're good :)
-it's easy to put this into the game, opposed to a matchmaking system (PYREX)
-this idea won't change the game too much.
-this idea does not require a large player base to pull off.
Cons:
-wealthy vets may be mad
-Less people will spec into proto suits
I think this would be a step in the right direction, and will limit pub stomping. CCP, please consider this idea.
Also bring the warbage back :)
The new commandos should have a better paint job. Look at the Amarr one!

I have 15 million SP, and I don't have one protosuit (just guns). I just use mainly advanced stuff.
The new commandos should have a better paint job. Look at the Amarr one!
Please bring back the Warbage!

They would still be able to use it in FW and PC. Would you really want a new matchmaking system like Pyrex suggested instead?!
