DUST Search - CCP, I have a well thought out idea about limiting protostomping.

When a player makes a fit that has a proto suit, they would only be allowed to use it once in a public game. -using prototype suits will feel more special, because there use in pub games is limited
-Over wealthy vets will have to adapt.
-more skill, less about bringing the best stuff into a match.
-punishes noobs who think they're good :)
-it's easy to put this into the game, opposed to a matchmaking system (PYREX)
-this idea won't change the game too much.
-this idea does not require a large player base to pull off.

Cons:
-wealthy vets may be mad
-Less people will spec into proto suits

I think this would be a step in the right direction, and will limit pub stomping. CCP, please consider this idea.

Also bring the warbage back :)

I get protostomped too sometimes, but I am not going to limit someone else because they happen to be more willing to fit expensive gear than I am. I'm not saying protostomping is good for the game. No, in fact, it's probably one of the reasons Dust's retention rate is so low. I'm just saying this is not the way to combat protostomping. He imposes order on the chaos of organic evolution...
