Paying as in ISK or with Aurum? And to the picture I don't see a free user being one-shotted by a paying user (Which is the case for most F2P, which are actually P2W IMO) I see a militia suit/ Newberry being One-Shotted by a Proto/Vet.
And yes I may have or not just agreed with you, but eh it happens.

dust has one of the fairest F2P policies I've played. I've never spent a cent on it and do fine. in fact i'd put it right up there with WoT and Tera on how fair it's F2P is. CCP has made many mistakes with dust and their aurum market is thankfully not one of them.

Aurum gear is cool and all, but Proto can still die to militia. OR just go use LP gear and get on the same level. |

Yeah, Aurum is basically just for the lazy people. in most F2P games where it is possible to get premium-currency items by using the free in-game currency, you basically have to grind at it for days. In DUST all of the skill grinding or LP grinding you do can get you an equivalent to Aurum in a pretty fair amount of time. Like he said, the pic doesn't apply only to DUST.

TF2 is not P2P, as it's more along the lines of a Pay to wear heats or something like that.

If we talk console F2P then wouldn't tekken be on there since aside from ranked it's all skill. If you want unfair try playing gundam battle operation... come back to me once you reach master sargeant rank. |
