I've just spotted this but it could be intentional.
The requirements of the Carthum Assault Scr Rifle is Proficiency 1, Meta level 9 the pro to Scr.
but the Imperial Carthum Assault is only Scrambler rifle level 3, still meta level 9.
IS this deliberate or an error

Loyalty Point weapons have lower skill requirements then their ISK versions... Standard LP Weapons have no requirements, Advanced LP weapons have the requirements of Standard, and Proto LP weapons have the requirements of Advanced.
It works the same way for everything bought in the loyalty shops. Basically, LP items work like Aurum items.

No they don't, They have lower fitting requirements, NOT lower skill requirements.

I can see it has lower skills, but according to CCP Foxfour the LP weapons are not meant to have lower skills but lowers fitting requirements, IE: CPU and/or PG
A proto weapon is still a pro to weapon wether its in LP Store or not, this weapon doesn't follow that rule.
Thats what I was pointing out.

i think you confused two different things there, OP:
the LP-Store exclusive "Specialist" variants of some basic-proto weapons (and some equipment maybe - heard of some extraordinary uplinks, injectors and rep-tools - but i ain't too deep into equipment to know it just like that precisely) - and on the other hand that all the other LP-Store items are meant to be the LP equivalent of AUR gear. |

Then CCP, must have set it differently for different weapons,
Kaalikiota Rail - RR operation L5 - CPU 84 and PG 17
State Kaalikiota specialist - RR operation also L5 but CPU 45 and PG 12
So here this is correct, it's a proto weapon so still need level 5 requirements, and also correct with lower fitting requirements.

Y-You're not seeing what they're saying, bro.
For example, let's say this:
ScR:
AUR STD - No Req.
STD - Lvl 1 OP.
AUR ADV - Lvl 1 OP,
ADV - Lvl 3 OP.
AUR PRO - Lvl 3 OP.
PRO - lvl 5 OP.
In the LP store the weapons work as AUR variants, Ie: STD requires no skills, ADV requires STD and PRO requires ADV. The only thing in the LP stores that should have reduced fitting requirements and be at the OP. 5 i the "Specialist x rifle". You were comparing 2 PRO weapons of different types. The Specialist is a reduced fitting OP. 5 PRO weapon, the normal PRO weapon has higher fitting costs but also requires OP. 5. I'll elaborate some more.
You used the Kaalakiota Rail Rifle & Specialist variant. The normal Kaalakiota Rail Rifle requires OP. 5 and (for instance) 80 CPU and 8 PG. The State Specialist Kaalakiota Rail Rifle is, as described, a reduced fitting cost variant. The State Kaalakiota Rail Rifle on the other hand has the same stats as the non-State version, but only requires OP. 3 to use.
Dropships need a buff. This way they can stop derping everywhere . ;_;
