Premise: something to hunt tanks / break heavy infantry resistance with.
Idea: 3 seater LAV with two turrets, one driver, two gunners, fully enclosed, guns are mounted on the roof with both being able to fire forward and backward, but only one side each(like dropships).
since vehicles are currently only Gallente and Caldari, these are the only two I will be covering.
Caldari: the ranged fighters, 4% increase to speed of missiles(this increases their range) and 3% to optimal range of hybrid-railgun turrets per level.
Gallente: Get in close and hammer them. 3% damage and 3% to RoF of hybrid turrets(both) per level.
Attack LAV Skill: 3% to reload speed and 4% to maximum ammo capacity of turrets.
Attack Lavs have 10% native damage resist( non-stacking) from the front of the vehicle and 5% from the sides, the back is neutral, with the exception of a fuel tank providing 120% damage done. this keeps them on their toes, and watching their flank, as they do not have a ton of health to throw around.
They have standard LAV hp totals, and slot layout with a small bonus to fittings to accommodate the turrets(two required.). Speed is 5% slower than standard LAV.
Thoughts? This would be the "Ideal" vehicle from the eyes of AV, requiring coordination, skill, and massive SP/ISK investment on the part of the driver/gunners, while being fairly easy to remove from the field for them.
If you hear the words "WORTH IT!" look about, something hilarious just happened.

Probably, but we haven't heard a word on those since... ever I think. All we ever got was that one cool concept picture

I've suggested an Idea similar to this MAV It is a little different though. I have an LAV suggestion that goes with this post. You no longer need Lav turrets but You may want an extra person with you so add a bench seat and a 3rd person view to passenger seats.

Definitely sounds like a MAV to me.
Honestly, I feel to some degree that HAVs should be disallowed from the solo tanker model currently in use. HAVs should be three-person team vehicles, and MAVs should be the solo vehicle assault that people use HAVs for now.
However, all of that requires that CCP actually gets their act together and releases MAVs.

I don't think drivers should get to shoot with basic tanks. There should be an assault tank for drivers to shoot with. Just like with a dropship.

Yeah, tanks should be team-required vehicles that AV can one-shot from 6000 miles away.
oh, you spent all your SP in tanks? better hope your entire crew is on at the same time, or else you're totally useless.

Well I like dropships better and there is no points to be made with them. There should be vehicle equality. And since when after 1.7 could AV do anythng.
