Is it just me or should they get a clip size increase. You get only 1 reload even at proto an your out of shots if you can't drop your target.

I think everyone who use SL before 1.7 and doing it now is asking themselves : "WTF I'm doing..." Small dmg buff is what they need. Any decent HAV or Dropship will escape before third round anyway. |

Hmm...I dunno what to say as I have an anti-armor MinComm. It dual weilds swarm launchers, and gives a 10% increase to their damage. I'm usually owning complete face if my other squad mates can take care of the infantry for me, and my swarm launcher proficiency isn't even up yet. It's getting there though. Most I can say right now, your Swarms will be pretty evil when you get the proficiency up on them. Just by dual weilding them, I can go AV easy without the help of anyone else.
An extra reload though would be nice because of the ADS's, they annoy me so fricken much because they're worse than a football player who jukes, and dives. I mean, seriously...yeah, it's an ADS, but should it REALLY be able to OUTRUN GUIDED MISSILES? The LAV can barely do that, and FOR SOME REASON, a TANK can do it too if they try hard enough.
Yes, yes, Swarms are bad, Swarms are evil, but seriously...I should at least be able to throw three salvos at you before you hit me in the face with one.

I can definitely agree with you that swarms get a lot better when you skill into them but they still have a **** poor ammo cache. Considering the job they need to perform on the field and I don't think an ammo increase to say 10 would make them OP in any way.

I can definitely agree with you that swarms get a lot better when you skill into them but they still have a **** poor ammo cache. Considering the job they need to perform on the field and I don't think an ammo increase to say 10 would make them OP in any way.
You gotta factor in the Ammo Capacity Skill though. It adds one round per level, so that's five. That means you would have a total of 11 rounds rounds to use in that Swarm Launcher. In all honesty, Ammo Capacity makes almost absolutely no difference in this game from the way I see it, aside from the Forge Guns, and Mass Drivers. The reason I beleive it doesn't apply to Swarm Launchers is because of their lock-on time. Again, two salvos out of the total base you can throw before they get away. More reloads is nice, but it's only nice for when you have to switch targets, and you already blew some of it on your original target. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not shooting down your request, I think it's actually something useful considering how you want to boost it to 15(this would actually make it evenly reload throughout firing it constantly with the three round magazine), I'm just being the devils advocate in order to think the request through properly.

Not necessarily clip size increase - definitely a max ammo increase... with increased vehicle durability you need increased ammo size to compensate... most weapons get 4 reloads.. even vehicle turrets get 4 reloads... AV weapons get usually 1 or 2 at most (depending on skills) |

I skilled into lvl 3 ammo capacity to give me three reloads. didn't cost much sp to do. I run my AV fit as a min commando now, and have that fit with a basic nanohive. Tanks and drop ships frequently run away before I kill them anyway (a dmg buff or range buff would be very nice...), so I have time to drop a nanohive and replenish my cache. |

Like someone suggested... let me lock on and hold the lock making me lock on more and more missiles so I can fire the entire clip at once if I manage to hold the lock long enough.

Yeah, I don't find them that bad really. Sure, good drivers get away before I can kill them, but as soon as they come back, I send them packing again. Thankfully I get WP for doing dmg now. It pissed me off before when I would spend a whole match keeping a tank or dropship out of the battle a lot, giving my team much needed relief and I would get zero war points (particularly when the only anit-infantry weapon I had was an SMG and combat was not close quarters). WP for dmg and the min commando has me putting SP into an SL AV fit again.

so one person with a swarm launcher can pose some sort of threat against vehicles, because AV grenades are useless. as opposed to it requiring at least 2 people with them focusing to make any sort of noticeable impact.

But they are explosives so the min commando gives +2% dmg per lvl to swarms and mass driver (and combat rifle because the bonus applies to projectile weapons).

Been running swarm / smg recently. Swarms are more useful for pushing a tank around than actually popping it. Unless the tanker makes a massive mistake he will be able to disengage and flee to allow his local reps to recover.
Currently swarms just don't deliver the pain. If you have several dudes with swarms in your sqaud, and time a salvo, you can deiiver enough alpha to take down a properly fit tank, but now your squad is running sidearms...

.....unless they are in min commando fits, in which case, they are running combat rifles with a 10% dmg bonus (assuming lvl 5 min commando).

Let's just lose option 3. Railguns are already, for the most part, the best AV money can buy, we really don't need Advanced Rails with a single damage mod 1 shotting ADSs and 2 shotting tanks.

i want back the old stats it can-¦t be that a Swam launcher is named as a "Anti-Objekt" Weapon at the moment i will call it Useless Weapon. Dropships fly away and tans hide behinde boxes ore drive away with afterburner.
The old SL was faster man!! It shoots Rockets !!! In the Real Live a fu*king ground/air rocket is faster than the rockes in Dust and faster as a F-16 Jet. BSW ist makes more dmg too -.-"
