i run my amar assault like a true blood amarrian..i have 3 dmg mods a load of armor and allot of stamina. i will be forming a squad of veteran laser rifle users..and we will be stomping across new eden. i set laser rifle aside for a bit post 1.8 to tune and tweak my amar logi for pc. i had to adjust it to 1.8. my laser rifle assault suit that i use now is the exact same suit i used in uprising 1.2-1.7

the laser rifle is not underpowered. here are just some casual screen shots of after battle reports i had laying around on my phone (sorry for terrible quality) one is a stnd lr ona adv amar assault one is a proto lr assault

if lr is a support weapon and you cant get kills with it..then why does my assault pull top of the leader boards with it repeatedly generally as the highest killer

these are really the only shots i have atm sadly, but i will making youtube videos and i will be spamming my lr assault for the next few weeks to prove this point.

i challenge the tactical rifle users of the other races take me on, take my squad on call us underpowered while you stare down my beam of death.

I have gotten scores like that in a GALLENTE COMMANDO in pub matches.

It doesnt make it viable in PC Morte.

All plates? You got me curious. I've been messing around with the LR for quite a while now but every time I'm considering going proto on it something more urgent comes up. At any rate, I gave it quite a run during the commando event and that thing is a monster. I love it. I melted whole squads from distance, laughing like a maniac as I scored triple kills with the same beam. With time you start to figure out the perfect spots in each map to position yourself, that weapon is so much fun and definitely not up. You just need a steady aim and some range. um not all plates but i run 3 dmg mods 2 for my lr 1 for my side arm i run the lr of = lvl to the suit..all my suits start with 1 comp repper and then plates...and i run the k17 heal resupplys or alloteks accordingly so my stnd aar assault has the stnd lr 2 dmg mods and 1 repper no plates my adv has 2 dmg mods comp repper 1 plate..my proto 3 dmg mods 1 comp repper 2 plates.. I can stop by pie ground control, or another chat channel if you'd like. yeah i am always in pie and i would simply love to stomp with other laser rifle users. i do sometimes get kills in those last 20 kills but when i do they are generally death touchs.. i think my longest kill feed from 1 beam...that being viziam ona proto amar assault with 2 cmp dmg mods..towards the viz and prof v...between rounds fired number 1 and 80 at max i have squeezed 9 kills in a majority of the nine as many as 5 were in between rounds...50-80 those last 30 rounds are ******* deadly..and if you catch a ground of people ina tight space its just so funny. i think with people more spread out my average is around 5 with 2 kills being in the first 40 rounds and 3 in last 40.. its all situational of course..but like u said shayz the lr is not bad it just requires knowledge of how to use it and some skill with aiming..i feel like the lr requires more precise aiming than allot of the guns in dust now really some suits dont need to preheat at all if your a scout and your at 70m im not gunna try and preheat my lr if your caldari of any kind cept the sentinel im not going to preheat my lr...i can generally kill a cal or minnnie suit easily with the first 10-15 rounds from the lr also after drake from irc told me about the lr's cqc ive been trying death touching with commando in cqc...i have death touched people at 6 m since 1.8 its crazy A laser rifle master for life not just for when it becomes popular Long Live the Empress Burn the Heretics
