Dude, you know you're wearing a friggin heavy suit inside of your tank anyway. If there's nobody else around, get out of your dang tank and hack a null cannon instead of driving around acting clueless.

Three tanks circling a null cannon with nobody else around. At least one could get out and hack it. If they're so scared they're going to lose a tank, then recall it, hack the null cannon and redeploy the tank.

I realize that every person has the right to play their own style, but seriously, it's sad when my take on tankers assigned to my own team is that they are all lousy cowards, just like redline snipers and cloaked shottys.

I play all roles in the game, some more frequently than others. I just hate to see when people specialize to the point that they lose the ability to handle the spontaneous dynamics of battle.

I do it. I shed tears when people avoid all risks. Of course, I have so much ISK that it matters not if I lose a vehicle. Sometimes I spend the match landing on enemy tanks with a dropship just for giggles. I think there are so many unexplored social interactions in this game.

I do that. It breaks up the battle and adds fun and spontaneity to the match. It is something unexpected. It's successful most of the time. Unless you're too attached to your vehicle, take a chance some day and experience the exhilaration of getting away with it.
