I've asked before, but I'll ask again. Why do people AFK in the MCC? Are they just not good enough to play, so they ruin it for everyone else? Or do I just have really crappy luck and get stuck with the sucky team that hides.

Then they shouldn't play instead of ruining it for others. Or at least make it so if you don't get any WP, you don't get any SP or ISK. I'm tired of having 10 players doing nothing in the MCC, taking up space that more useful and better players could fill.

The problem with AFKing is that the SP rewards are completely ******.
You get:
5 SP/Second
1 SP/WP
So pretty much you're rewarded for being there, and not doing something. I feel as though they should get nothing. Or a system be in place that can tell if they're just hiding and not even playing.

LAVALLOIS, why are you going so far out of your way to defend AFKers? In response to your earlier comment, "Did you even check the scoreboard?" Yes I did, you know what it said? 0/0 0WP, AND THERE WERE 10 OF THEM! Don't even try to bs me that the starter suits are useless, because they're not. I still use Frontline dropsuit set up with a Militia Nanite Injector and there is no way I can make less than 60WP a match, unless I were to be hiding in the MCC. If people are hiding because they're getting ravaged by the opposition and its clear we're going to lose, I still think we should go all out, but I don't really care if they do hide. However, people sitting in the MCC from the start of the timer is the issue I'm talking about. Is that what you do? Is that the reason why you think people should be able to hide for an entire match, not contribute anything to the team, just be useless, rather than just use a free suit and at least have a go?

The more people we have reporting these people, the more likely CCP are to realise it really IS as big a problem as the frequent AFK threads on the forums would indicate. Also, the more likely they are to consider implementing a REAL anti-AFK solution in place of the current one. They do listen to the players. And when I've reported people, and commented about the poor choice of anti-AFK measure they're using, they've responded to my reports.
So I've submitted one with a list of 8, should I continue to leave messages on there further listing players.
This is my list thus far. I think I should have stated earlier, that if the match is so one sided, that people find that they can't do anything, not even get a single kill, then by all means, be a ***** and hide in the MCC. I, on the other hand will spawn in a cheap/free suit, and keep going for just maybe that one extra kill. It's cheap/free, I don't give a crap if I lose 50-100 of them, it's a part of the game, it's a part of getting anywhere.
If they don't like the game after the patches, then don't play. Are they mentally handicapped? It's not hard to figure out, move on from this game and play something else.
If they're alts for ISK farming, IP recognition and banning, or PSN account banning. Hold corporations accountable for the actions of their members, fine them a percentage of their ISK if they don't talk to and fix their useless members clogging up matches that just ruins it for others. If their members don't comply, kick them or risk the fine.
If they're actually behind the controller running around nonstop in the MCC all match then... I don't know, that's kind of just sad and pathetic, having a life that empty and dull seems like punishment enough really.
