Unless you are a scout DO NOT sink any sp into precission enhancement or range amplification. I assure you it I literally worthless. I stacked complex precission enhancers and enhanced range amplifiers and literally saw almost no difference. You will wish you used it on nova knives I promise.

I saw video of a caldari scout that was able to see people through walls at a range of maybe 60 meters. 
Being the super smart, caldari assault player that I am, i decided that i could maybe do something similar. 700,000 sp later, no real change. 
I put a complex range amplifier on my suit and now can see reds if I aim directly at them. woohoo.
oh well...

Hey, I was able to detect a many a wanna be Shotgunners in suits that weren't scouts trying to hug my bum from behind.
That extra 5 meters made a difference and the precision.
Now, would I waste that much SP to skill into it like I have....

Being invisible to some Sentinels while in my Logi ain't so bad.
Being able to spot Medium Frames while in my Sentinel is pretty good too.
When it comes to scouts I just turn on the old paranoia and everything ends OK.

I'm with the OP. My precisions and amplifiers aren't doing anything, even with enemies just 15 meters out. |

I'll still probably max them out. I'm only 7 million skill points away until I finish leveling all the core upgrades I have left.

Some simple math could have told you that it would be useless before sinking months worth of SP into them...
