What's everyone's opinions on the different tiers of cloaks.
I've personally never used anything above basic, as there doesn't seem to be a point; plus the least amount of time from 0%-50%

I stick with advanced.
You get 30 seconds without any cooldown penalty, so it's like using a basic cloak if you ration it out well.
I don't think proto is worth it but I've only tried the AUR version a handful of times. I have noticed that sometimes I am decloaked involuntarily (not sure what triggers it but I'm not doing anything obvious like switching weapons or whatever) so in those cases, I can't rely on the cloak duration lasting for as long as its listed. |

I use basic, managing my time constantly by flicking the cloak on and off between cover. Get into cover, turn off and think of next move, turn cloak back on and move. Repeat

^this. If you were flanking pre-1.8, you know when you do and don't need the cloak. Personally I've never really had problems with the basic cloak- I can count the number of times I wanted to cloak but was under 50% on one hand.

I haven't seen a need to use anything beyond STD. It's more than enough time to do what you have to do. Cloak, get in position, de-cloak, do work, repeat. |

The different tiers should have different db reduction bonuses.

ADV gives me the best balance between recharge and duration.
Yeah, I usually don't use more than 50% of the cloak, but sometimes I need to hide for a long time, and that extra time saved my ass.
My intentions is to have a fun game for everyone.
If I seem to be biased, I have good hard data to back it up.
