Select your name in members, drop all roles, select your name again, leave corporation, and you are free to go where you want instantly.

There is no need to wait 24 hours after dropping roles before you are able to leave a corporation. Debate about this behavior aside, if any player feels they are being held in a corporation against their will then they are free to submit a ticket and we can investigate.
The stasis period really needs to be removed. It is easily circumvented and only causes problems. Players not knowing the workaround being trapped is only one of the benefits of this horrible feature.
We recently had an unruly member who had been given TCO for a PFC match that could not be removed from the corp chat thanks to this. He was able to cause extensive problems while he sat there shouting profanities and attacking members with nothing to be done on our side due to the fact that someone attempted to remove him without removing his role first. |
