There is a reason gear in this game has strenghts and weaknesses against certain stuff, so that one type of gear used cannot completely mop the floor with the enemy if the enemy has the slightest idea what they are doing.

Lol if you thinking killing 4 MLT solo tanks is a challenge.
With AV support like he had I have no doubt he could have faced down twice that number. Give him gunners and he could have reaped and even greater tally.
This example it not wholly a show of the triple rep tanks strength. He had Swarm support, and took them by surprise, out playing them.
I doubt many tankers worth their salt just rush enemy HAV head on.

And all of them but the one rail were blasters. Triple reps eat blasters like a champ.
I will attest though to a rail tank being unable to break the reps. At least a STD turret with no damage mods. Damage modded sica would have 3 to 4 shot it.

I don't go into battle any more without small turrets mounted on my HAV..... which means I lose 1 repper and run 1 rep 1 hardener.......I haven't lost a tank do an enemy for weeks now.

Doesn't matter if he solo'ed them or not.
I know the feeling of busting 4+ tanks within the space of 3 mins...its glorious.....and to his squad that must have been a pretty badass feeling.

Infantry like you forced the changes on to CCP. They then did what they decided best for the vehicle play as a whole. Why don't you like the outcome of what you forced on CCP?

I once inadvertently ran into five (5) enemy blaster tanks at the same time. I had picked a triple hardened particle cannon; I wasn't planning on getting out of the tank for the rest of the match and I was the only AV for my squad, so durability was key.
I'd just seen a red neutron Maddy tearing up my team, so I figured it was time to play ball. I pulled my tank, drove down the (Fractured) road and spotted him coming around the corner. Followed by four other tanks. My triple hardeners saved me for about five seconds.
I actively avoid 2v1s because they can rapidly turn sour.
jerrmy, you clearly don't know anything about anything.
His passive-tanked fit means he's at 100% (or near enough) at the beginning of each engagement, and the fact that those tanks all attacked him separately means they never stood a chance.
The way he overheated twice against those tanks suggests to me the reason he won was the fact that all those fights were indeed 2v1s - him and his swarm vs a single red tank.
