I thought they meant the individual was cloaked, but have seen a few that had chevrons and were not cloaked... When the red river runs, take the dirt road.

The New Chevron symbols indicate a character that has a Cloak equipped ... that does NOT necessarily mean the cloak is Active, only that the character has one equipped. Also, the OPEN end of the chevron is the direction the character is facing ... think of it as their field of view nothing to see here ... move along

I was looking at a Gal commando on the same level of ground right in front of me and he had it. Either it is a scan profile thing or new suit. Brick tanking a scout suit since April 2013!

Did you determine this yourself, or was there a DEV post or DEV blog covering this topic? When the red river runs, take the dirt road.
