Science has may have mistakes but it is people whom make them, well though out, planned and executed scientific methods usually prove something or make is extremely hard to deny. Believing the world was flat or that we were the center of the universe/solar system was not true science, it was assumptions made by people whom were uneducated in real sciences. I am not saying science is infallible but it does have a really good track record when done properly.

Who the hell scans anymore?

That makes it none the less faith based....and science has a a long history of being wrong on all sorts of thing.

We thought gravity explained it all. Until we figured out relativity. Whoops! Then along came quantum mechanics. Whoops!

What will be next?

The reality is that science is simply our best guess at this time. But it's still a guess. An approximation of reality. An interpretation. A perception.

Which is not really all that different from religion -- which was the point of my post.
