Here's a thought that always crossed my mind.
Why not everyone use Free fits in PC matches? It would be just the polar opposite of everyone running maxed out proto.
So if everyone is on par with the same level of gear, why not make it cheap?
For some reason people feel the need to break the bank for a district, when really they should all go at for pennies and rake in massive profits. Think about how much money goes to waste in a PC with suits, equipment, vehicles, etc... sure you can afford it, and eventually you get compensated, but just think how many million of millions of even MORE ISK everyone would have...

I would state that location but it would undoubtedly get me banned yet again for being what they call 'racially charged' on the other side tho... there is a bluelight special on a couple undisclosed districts owned by some local gutter trash. the trick is figuring out who u need to talk to in order to snatch up such a bargain on the cheap 
Think about it. Gear doesn't come into play in a PC. Everyone has maxed out skills, and top level gear. Matches would be the same outcomes if everyone used lesser gear. Because it comes down to tactics and skill.
People would save billions of ISK, and still win the district just the same...

As if whatever gear your corp can bring to the field, the other side can't?
Everyone comes with the same high caliber gear, its no different than everyone have the same low caliber gear.
Very rarely does the other team bring that the other team can't answer for. Maybe specialist players, like Snugglz or Cakeman, but as far as gear, whatever your corp brings, the other team has it too.
So, in the interest of saving billions of ISK, everyone could just use cheap starter and BPO stuff. Those who think gear matters, have no game-skill, simple as that.
Think about the Salvage you always get. Its either stuff you had already, or stuff you have zero individual use for what-so-ever.

I honestly think you are just a sad little troll, but, I will play along, as I am bored because there is nothing to do other than to print isk and laugh at people complaining because AE is the boss right now.
Yes, the stacking of mods... so much versatility in this game, and all anyone does is stack the same mods on suit. Every suit in this game, especially in PC, is the flippin same. 7-9 slots to fill, and people use 3-4 mods...
In pubs, where a variety of players comes into play, gear makes a huge difference, as not every player is on the same level. In PC, everyone has the same skills maxed out, same modules fitted, same variations of suits in their fittings list. You never have an advantage of gear on the battlefield. Whatever suit you have, I have one just like it. Whatever suit you have to counter mine, I have one to counter your counter.
So, if someone is going to break the bank by building suits that have no advantages, why bring them at all?
Best example:
Make an alt, and go into the academy. You will see matches that are just as fast paced, back & forth, and action packed as PC. The only difference is, they are using starter fits. The matches come down to tactics and skills, rather than gear.
So, how does an academy match have the same mentality as a PC? Because gear doesn't matter if everyone is on the same level.
People who think gear matters, are crutch users. CUBS is a good example of this. He topped the leaderboards of this game for 2 distinct reasons. 1. He spent on boosters, and played this game as religion. 2. He used the most OP weapon system in the game at the time. His KD was something around a 6 and he had more kills by uprising than most players will ever have in this game.
Come uprising, they nerfed the sh*t out of his chosen gear. Somehow his KD dropped 1.5 points, wish is pretty remarkable considering the amount deaths/kills it takes to move a KD that had that many kills and deaths on it. Most player are lucky if they can get their KD to move 0.01 either direction, his dropped 150x that...
So was he really the best player in the game, or was it gear? Funny how 1.7 drops and Duna shot up the leaderboards in a month. Or the FoTM posterchild milkman1 found his way to the top and never let go.
Those stats come from the pubs where gear makes a difference. In PC, they don't hold 5-6 KDs, because their gear doesn't make a difference there.
TL DR: Gear doesn't matter in PC, because everyone has the same sh*t on both teams.
