cranium79 ZionTCD 98	Posted - 2014.03.30 13:54:00 - [1] - Quote it used to be killing (sniping) drivers out of LAV's and waste gunners out of drop ships. now it's killing cloaked mercs. nothing is more satisfying than killing a sneaky merc who thinks they are invisible/invincible due to their FOTM. be it 1 vs 1, or by sniping them (which is better), i just can hear the screams when they fall "but no one can see me!! how did this happen!?". it's like playing peek-a-boo with a baby. yes, i die to cloaked mercs all the time now, but when i do kill them... it's golden. yes, this is a bit of a troll, but we all got to make lemonade out of lemons, until cloaks are nerfed like every other FOTM.

If you can see my cloaked Amarr scout setting up his LR perch 90 meters I'd say you deserve that kill i've seen and killed running scouts @ over 300m with a charge sniper rifle. cloaks are actually not that hard to see when running. look for the blur. when they stop... then it gets hard. i need to stay focused on the area when i last seen them and look for that tell tale blur again. typically, if i'm running and gunning, once i lose the blur, i retreat immediately, moving backwards and putting out a few bursts. the actual good thing about cloaks is that they take up so much suit resources (cpu and pg) that it leaves little to no room for protection or good weapons. so, if you do get the jump on them, the fall pretty easily. bad thing is... militia/standard (same punch, less cpu/pg) SGs are 1-2 shot killers @ close range.

I don't think you've gotten me yet, but I'm sure you will. I've been killed multiple times while cloaked by snipers. TBH that should negate the whole 'nerf cloaks' ordeal. If a guy sitting 200-300+ meters away can see us, people standing right near us should have no issue.
