Out of all the AUR commando suits CCP gave us to try, I seemed to do best with the Caldari one. Couldn't quite put my finger on why though. |

its cool i run all 3 and they have their purpose for me is a point defense heavy because heavy's use bullets so there is a natrual resistance and having high shield helps plus the quick recharge rate means you can get back to the fight.

Also I can't decide if a 1.3 second reduction is worth it or if I should keep the complex armour plate, I do notice higher survivability with the complex armour plates then the complex regulators |

Yes, it is a great heavy. I've had alot of fun with my CalSen, the heavy of heavies. I've gone toe to toe with other heavies and dropped them.

Generally they are garbage but try a complex reactive on the low and see how it works for you. The 2hp
armour regen isn't great but its helped me a little in prolonged engagements.

It's probably the best point defence heavy too tbh cause I do laugh when ppl chuck flux nades at me and my shields pop back up straight away with 120+ shields and go up past half way before they actually get the balls to storm the room lol |

At first I was a cal assault and as soon as we got a drop suit command respec I was thinking of going cal scout as all my skills are in shielding and weapons but I know they will get the nerf hammer as everyone is abusing them so I went cal hvy and I love the proto suit, it reminds me of a big turtle  |

Oh dude I use my dren sent bpo build and it's a slaying suit with only a cost of 15k isk lol
Here's the build: 1 bpo dren sent, 1 bpo militia plate, 1 bpo militia armour rep, 1 bpo militia locus nades, 1 bpo toxin smg, mh-82 hmg and 1 complex dmg mod. That suit has over 900 hp and it still destroys proto hvys

The CalSent is THE AV Jesus. Average 4-5 tank kills per game along with assorted DS and LAV kills.
But as a bullet sponge? Meh, works well on the open if it can duck behind a box. Hallway CQC... It's going to die. .. alot.
Still worth all the SP I dropped on it.
Rail rifle + Bolt Pistol= death at >50meters. Under 50, I die.

Dude I have the suit on my alt Diurnal Soul and the thing is vastly in-superior in cqc compared to other heavies, its like the Amarr scout but it actually has a defined role on the field.

Yes when a gal heavy has 200 less shield than you do it is.

The tank could use some more beef. It has resistances to Blasters and LasersGǪbut it still takes two pops from a shotty to go down. Of course that could be me as my shield skills aren't maxed yetGǪ

Tbh if a shotgunner has got close enough to 2-3 shot you in the first place then your point isn't defended well, you should always have scouts and a logi nearby to rep and scan, don't get me wrong shot gunners are annoying with the cloak and shot gun but if I'm pinned in I always see them before they are a danger |

Yep
Lower shields of amarr and gallente heavy
Lower armor of cal heavy by 100 or 150
Increase base ahields by 50, 100, or 150, add 5% rail and projectile resistance
