Hi guys! How are you feeling the AR with the Gallente Assault? I played a few matches yesterday and felt the kick reduction helped increase the range on the weapon a bit.
Hipfire seems more viable and in control and the bonus reduction finally allowed me to use the Adv. SMG on my fit so im happy.
Overall, i know its not the best suit or weapon outhere but, how are you feeling it?
By the way, AR Burst needs some love in the DPS department, its very easy to hit with it, but you do almost no damage, which pretty much makes target run or hide before you kill him :(.
I think to fully exploit this suit and weapon you need lvl 5 on Gallente Assault and AR Operation, SShooter and Proficiency.
Any recommended fits?

Wow, i never thought the Ion pistol would work well in the Gallente Assault, i use the SMG cause i like to have an armor damage sidearm, considering the AR or Flux Grenade takes out the shields, still, i will give the Ion pistol a try as soon as i max out the SMG.
This is my everyday battle fit:
Gallente Assault G/1
2x Complex shield extenders (low base damage on AR makes Damage modules not viable imo).
1xComplex Armor Repair
1xBasic Armor Plate.
1xEnhanced Armor Plate. (I never go over 5% movement penalty on any of my suits).
1xC-7 Flux.
1xAdvanced SMG (Breach type. SKM).
1xGek-AR
1xCompact Nanohive.
Im glad to see many people stayed on the Gall.Ass. I sort of had no choice, my only proto weapon is the AR and since we didnt get the weapon respec i could not switch to Caldari/Minmatar, so i had to continue with my Gallente Assault in order to favor my only Lvl 5 overall weapon, still, i dont regret my choice, i stand my ground very well, usually... lol

I-Śm so used to the "spray and pray" that aim-point weapons, like pistols, give me a hard time, i think thats why i like the SMG a lot, still, considering the Ion is getting good reviews i might try it soon tm.
