As a cal scout proto with 374 shields (because I need a sidearm with a shotty), is it fine if you die? Like 31-6, 20-3 15-0 and so on? Or am I bad? Or what..,

AS a Beta Scout and now Scout again, I would say yes. I hardly ever go positive as a Scout, but that's not the entire point.

3+ KDR in a scout suit is fine. Anything less means you're probably wearing the wrong suit for what you're trying to do in the game.

More than fine. That's better than what I get on average but even if you even then at least you're hacking objectives. |

Its fine, tanking shields is ok since they don't give much.

I started this game as a scout and have been one for the last 5 months. My KDR is 0.86, it's only lately that I have gotten around 10 mil SP and have started to get 4's and 5's in core upgrades that I have seen 16/3 matches.
There were only a handful of scouts in the game that could go 36/6 prior to 1.7.
Now with cloaks, sigh, even I was doing 8/2 yesterday with a militia frame cause I hadn't made up my mind about which suit I'd be skilling back into. |

I've been dying for the Amarr Scout since closed beta and now have it. I played Amarr Assault in the mean time, and it's odd from going 32/2, 46/6, 20/0 a match, then with the Amarr Scout going 17/9, 8/8, and 10/5 a match...it's just painful.
I could list the ways how we Amarr are better than you, but your lesser mind wouldn't comprehend it.

Just switch back to Assault. The pain will end.
