There's always been a few good scouts, but compared to the number or proto stomping assaults, heavies, tanks, and logis, us scouts just had to take our lumps and pride ourselves on helping our team. With few exceptions, most of us have never been a force to be feared...until now. Now, armor tanked, shield tanked, scanner spamming, or FOTM weapon wielding, take your pick - you'll still have to look over your shoulder...scouts are here to compete. Might as well stop crying about the cloaks, and just learn to live with them. Or die, your call ;)

I'd consider myself a talented scout and I have my hands full with 3 enemy. Cloak or no cloak that doesn't change. The cloak isn't going to allow a scrub to take on and beat 5 guys. And it's impractical to put it on anything but the squishiest targets. This is a good thing, as it makes scouts what they were before Uprising. I don't need luck, I have ammo. You will never have two people of similar skill (RL skill) going at it. 2: Even if things are intended for a specific use, they will be used for killing. And they enjoy that part.
