This would make every vehicle that isn't double or triple hardened completely useless, and it would not affect double or triple hardened vehicles in any way, so how is that any sort of balancing?
R.I.P. Pre-1.7 tanks, you will be missed.

This would be a start yes. Also removing the vehicle recall functionality outside the redline, so that when you're taking tremendous fire and think you can't escape you can just step out of your tank and make it disappear. i'm also for removing the recall function, let's people recall Tanks only near a depot. First make depots available to tanks.

Sorry about possible triple post (on my phone) but you are fcking stupid. 1v1 should always be fair and about skill and gear level.

Also removing the vehicle recall functionality outside the redline, so that when you're taking tremendous fire and think you can't escape you can just step out of your tank and make it disappear. Again, we are almost unanimous (meaning even vehicle users as well) that an RDV should actually have to pick up the vehicle, redline or not. There should be NO means of making your vehicle magically disappear under any circumstances. I would be happy if a the recall would deny ordering a new vehicle for a longer time. I can live with the recall itself but what bugs me is that you can recall you damaged vehicle and call in a fresh one short after that should not be possible. Then switching suits needs to take a lot longer too, and you need to be killable the whole time. You don't realize that some people are actually using it how it's meant to be used, adapting to the current situation on the battlefield. Your suggestion makes it a lot harder to use it for the intended use. It would not affect those wishing to recall damaged vehicles as they have no desire of calling in a new one in the heat of battle. Instead recall time should be linked to armor % lost on the vehicle. And recall should have a cooldown of 1-2 mins to stop people avoiding cooldowns on rail tanks.
