This is as bad as that guy saying we should remove vehicles from Ambush and make them cost WP in all other modes.

Hell, the number of cloakers has actually been going down as some people realize they can't get away with it with basic skills.
overreacting? nah, I can't say that either. People stop playing games because of cheesy mechanics. It's not fun to die to cheesy ****. In the same manner that it isn't fun for new players to get stomped all the time. Anyone that leaves because of any of these things...I can sympathize with.
