Well, no. We don't have to be mercenaries. Some of us choose not to be. You can label yourself as a mercenary because it will justify the fact you have no real loyalty, morals or obligations other than gaining ISK. That's fine, that's what you choose to be. Not all of us do. Don't get me wrong I'm not butthurt about the blue doughnut, it's part of a cycle that must happen to form a new era. But I am not strictly a mercenary.
I'd say I'm more like soldier in some respects. That is I have affiliation to one corporation and one only, I will fight under their morals and terms. However you are misunderstanding what 'soldiers' are. They don't have to be fighting all the time, some choose when to fight.

This is actually the third time I've made a thread bout this topic in war room. Every new Blue Donut brings up the same questions and comments and QQ. Nothing has ever changed, people pretend to play soldier, then cry on the forums. Even when I was fighting against the blue donuts I found this annoying. Maybe if people decided wtf they want to do in this game blue donuts could be fought.
Well I'm "playing solider" and do you see me crying about it? No. You are generalizing everyone who does not attain themselves as a mercenary to be a ***** who cries when mercs get their way.
Don't get wrong there are some idiots who really DO want to play army cadet (Cough, Buzz, cough) but don't tar us all with the same brush. You do not have loyalty to anyone, you will fight for who pays you the most, and you will therefore stick to the latest buzz there is. That is what your mercenary lifestyle consists of, I fail to see how you have anything to be proud of.

No, you cannot generalise us all the same. I'm sure it is the simplest thing for you to do, and I know it might be a strain for you to broaden your mind but no, we are not all "bitching and moaning about the same topics".
Do you see me bitching and moaning about the same topic? Anyone from my corporation, in fact? The same can be said about many other corporations who have a similar ethos to mine. The Generals, they are in Tso's and hold themselves in the same way we do, do you see them bitching?
I don't really know why you're resorting to such a weak argument to defend your OP, but just admit you were wrong and save yourself the embarrassment any further. Or perhaps you'd like to put up a ' ' face and pretend you were trolling me to save your skin?

Mostly it's actually just me using search and proving them hypocritical - which I can do with, pretty much everyone. But you? You're a stand up guy. You've only been saying, "Forums won't win a war, only impede it logistically." You've signed in on the conversations, but never actually shown any more interest then wanting good ol' fights.
