With the new patch and an anticipated return of long lost mercs i have been considering grabbing a district. I got decent squads and some of the guys training are hungry. Is it even possible to enter PC?
I would like some serious advice if you will. I see a ton of smaller corps who are not ready fall apart. What sacrifices will i have to make? Is there a guru of PC that i can chat with? I am kind of getting sick of Dust in general but will give this a try before i move on.
Who wants some?

Then when you are ready to admit that your ego is greater than your skills, you can get into DNS.

I suspect that the PFC model will be extended to the rest of MH, and districts will be available for "rent".

You can do the following:
1. Attack right now and get booted outta PC
2. Join PFC and get stuck paying rent for no reason as if you attack anywhere outside of the district, you'll be touching their property.
3. Wait patiently for them to crumble under their own weight.
4. Start building up people and join whatever rebel associations are being formed right now, so that later on you may attack successfully.

Option 1: Speak to Kane Spero and get a district on PFC or Thunderdome
Option 2: Speak to Kane Spero/Cubs and purchase a real district from NF Reality
Option 3: Speak to other corps and purchase a real district
Sidenote: Although I like the idea of attacking to get in, the current way PC is run makes it extremely difficult with clones packs being not viable and big corps that you **** off can easily make your PC experience a nightmare. You typically need good manners and diplomatic skills to make an entry.

I guess I don't care that much about being in PC. Its mainly something to keep my guys busy. Getting wasted and pub stomping is pretty much what we do. Buying land does not appeal to me. Even free land is worthless. Thanks for the offer but I can't participate in whatever it is you guys are doing.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I will discuss this all with the Wolves and see what they think. I am guessing we will have to at the very least attempt to conquer something. If that goes south who knows what will be next?

If you want some fights just attack any DNS they should give you a good fight. (Option 1 Cost: 1 Clone pack)
If you want to own some districts you will need to start talking with some other corp leaders and will pretty much need to start an all out attack together till you have more attacks going than actual men they can field.(Option 2 Cost: Half a Bil or more per corp)

You can PFC or attempt some kind of conquest but the best advice is this.
Anything you do is futile unless you have billions or trillions of isk UNLESS spending a lot of time for absolutely nothing is your thing but that's kind of what dust is eh? Lol.

Hey bud. Saw your questions and thought I'd help u out. At this point in PC, you wont have great fortune unless you get with the already established alliances on MH. Gotta make sure ur team can even compete on that level first. If you do, then you may stand a chance...

A combination of 3 and 4 with 2 if you want a steady source of income.
or option 5. Blue up.

I'm sorry you couldn't cut it on Socom and you had to come to a game that has less than 4,000 players worldwide playing on it to finally be a big fish. I'm for one am happy about playing DUST casually and doing just fine. I don't have anything left to prove to the FPS community.
