You nerfed my damage mods and the base stats on every weapon, not to mention the unneeded nerf on my classic AR.

Mostly playing other games and ocassionally popping on here to see what's going on. But this time, I am in all honesty butthurt with this update. Let's hope I'm just wrong and it is for the better.

The assault rifle received a relative buff as the other rifles were nerfed harder. I think it could have used a bigger buff but overall this should make them better than they were recently in comparison to the other weapons. |

I fit a shield tank. I won't "come at you" at all when you are holding a ScR. I'll let my Gallente assault corpmate turn you inside out though.

As I said, I hope you are right and I'm just butthurt. But we'll have to see. I'm seeing this turning into a complete tracking shooter, which I wouldn't mind if the aiming mechanics weren't as clunky. If any of you remember the very first builds where two protos would take about 15 minutes to kill eachother then you'd understand why I'm reacting like this.

.... ahhh who am I kidding? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! NEENER NEENER NEENER!!!! That weapon went so long as the undisputed king of combat at all ranges it has more than earned its nerf. In fact it wasn't even a nerf... it was just balanced so it fits in place with the other rifles.

All the rifles, ALL of them, every single one, beat the AR everywhere, in addition for having more range.
I'm sorry but in 1.7, AR was the weakest rifle.

Sadly, with CCP's track record on this game....when has a new content/balance patch been "Better"? it has been steadely been going downhill since Uprising, witch as it name implies it should be going Uphill....
They dont seem to have the faintest clue on how to balance this game...
Now we have all suits trying to content for slayer spot 1, but ironically the Assault Suit, witch is used for assaulting...i know weird isnt it, is gonna be the worst at doing so...
Why didnt they make Commando's for instance the AV specialist suits, they are the only ones who can carry 2 light weapons and require range to work properly, no they give them an Anti Infantry Buff and leave the vehicles as broken as Day 1 of 1.7...even worse are we now with the Damage Mod nerf...
I do not understand their logic of balance anymore....
After todays patch, Murder Taxi's are gonna be nigh unstoppable, you cant kill em in one clip and they kill you in less then a second.
So we are forced to go scout to become NOT a target for both OP Vehicles & Heavies...
Well see, but man ....i wish we were still Chromosone...
