But you knew you would look like a noob and you knew you couldn't do it in the worst suit in the game, and that was the whole point! To only have a compact hive, 80 ish armor, 1 gun an 234 shields, not have 200+ armor and a passive regen. But you had to do it your way, sorry bro no dice! Dust gives you two options in most cases, either clone the other team or destroy their MCC. The best way to perform either task is to kill and kill well. Now you complain about someone who does the job and does it well? Sounds to me like someone is just trying to set up Babar to fail in a suit that is gimped beyond recognition, which tells me all I need to know about their character.

Other classes can do their role just as well though, which is where the QQ came from. We were pissed that a Med Frame could our job better than we could. Most problems with the suit got fixed by 1.7. Pre-1.7 was absolute HELL to go through as a scout. This is what I suggest. To try and get the feel of why the MAJORITY of scouts thought the suit was UP. Get an Alt. Skill into scouts. Run the basic/ADV scout with low SP. A good scout REQUIRES having a very high SP investment. Core Skills must be above 3 at the least. Biotics needs to be maxed. Shields needs to be maxed for minmatars. You at least have to have ADV Kincats. If you wanna dodge ADV scans, you have to have scout to three and dampen to 4. Get a gun, and get good with it. You need to be able to kill targets before they can properly react. I suggest at least having the main gun proto'd. Prof 3 is optional, but highly recommended. Since fitting is slim on the already slim Min Scout, you will need to have Light Weapons, Sidearms, and Explosives to at least three. This makes fitting easier. ^This is the bare minimum for a decent scout against the average team. This is why the MAJORITY of scouts think its UP. The only ones that can use it effectively are higher SP characters. This is why your evaluation is invalid in my book. As a Scout since 1.1, and from the very beginning of my Character, I can say this: Scout only got fun after the SP caught up. Until then, you were just a guy in a paper suit who couldn't use any of his strengths effectively. You had only slightly faster speed, you couldn't dodge the vast majority of scans without gimping the fit, and you had a hard time fitting what you needed on the suit. Nothing says "F**K YOU!" like a direct Flaylock to the face. I've got 3k likes, I'll double post if I want to dammit!

Yes vs a losing team for sure, I still run around in a fairly competent manner, especially in the beginning and get 7 headshot kills and I do take out a bunch of fatsuits. - I'm pretty sure I could get a much better score if I played for a week and actually trained a little in that playstyle. My previous record in a scout suit and dual scramblers are 42-2, so I know I can do it. - It took me 3 hours to edit that vid and thats more than enough time spent on my part to anwer this silly mess. - I've noticed a trend here, the ones screaming the loudest on the forums, bragging the most, are normally the non-factors that nobody has ever heard off before. You can use it as a lightweight Assault suit, you gain some speed, a lower scan profile and come 1.8, an additional equipment slot and it works fine. The real problem lies in the fact that Dust doesn't have or require any diversity on the battlefield. In my opinion, Scouts and Logis shouldn't be straight up combat suits. Scouts should be about E-war and gathering information while Logis should be much closer to a sapper or combat engineer, building and blowing things up basically. Unfortunately, there is no need for any of those roles. E-war comes down who has the better mini-map and being a "proper" Logi currently consists of following heavies around with a repair tool, or being an Assault but with more nanohives, and until we see an expansion of what's required on the battlefield beyond the two things that are currently necessary (killing and capturing objectives), Scouts will be caught in the limbo of being sort of useful.

Sure there will Caldari scout for squad scanning Gallente for complete stealth, good for gaurding objectives when you know enemies will be there or attacking cal scouts, minmatar for really quck hacks to flip an objectives, amarr are a differwnt story. Amarr logi for uplinks, caldari logi for repping hives, greneade resupplying and ammo, gallente for doubvole focused scan, or a proxy scanner, minmatar for repping. Need I say more... However, playing one match against what was obviously an extremely sub-standard team and not even getting close to the huge scores you usually get isn't a great showing. I appreciate you don't have the time to be able to do any more than this but surely you yourself can acknowledge that this is not nearly enough to be considered representative and if anything actually supports our comments that the advanced scout suits are indeed UP. Surely if one of the top players in the game can only do that well in the suit against a team of utter noobs, that means the suit's sub-par?
