He was challenged to use a minmatar scout not a gallente with shields and biotics and knives and a pistol, not a 500 HPdual brick with two guns that'll drop a heavy in a clip and especially in some red line stomp with a squad!

I was honestly rooting for the guy cuz I really thought he could do it, but then I see he posts some insulting dual tanked noob killer video and it's friggen insulting to challenge , have him accept it and change the rules and dorks like you back him up!

That wasn't the challenge plain and simple so don't post the video acting like you deserve some pat on the back.

Many challeneged me to go advanced and use a cqc weapon, shotty or nova knife. Me not having any experience with either of these weapons make it unfair IMO, I went with pistols instead. A very suitable and "sneaky assasin like" cool gun for the role. A dude told me to get a score of 35-5 with 15 being knife kills but both of those requirements are tossed out off the window, 24-2 with scramblers it is. (Personal best scout+dual scramblers is 42-2, skirmish) I did go in alone but I did have some Burgers on my team. Yes there may indeed be harder scenaros for this setup, though I could easily have fitted a basicCR instead and gotten range aswell. It does however work IMO as a showcase of the playstyle and not least that the Galente medium suit isn't bad at all, this setup cost less than 27 K isk. I have included the round in its entirety but have speeded up the slow parts so its down to 7.23. I personally hate to see unedited footage, so much dead-time, I don't wanna present it to others. Galente M1/series 2 proto extenders proto Reactive plate Enhanced Profile Dampener Nanaohive M1 Locus grenades 2x Assault scrambler pistols, (listed as basic but require lvl 2) - I have scrambler pistol operations to lvl 5 and profficiency lvl 1. - I'm not saying that 1.8 changes to the scout suits aren't welcome, I just don't understand the massive QQ thats been about their UPness, traditionally speaking. Yes vs a losing team for sure, I still run around in a fairly competent manner, especially in the beginning and get 7 headshot kills and I do take out a bunch of fatsuits. - I'm pretty sure I could get a much better score if I played for a week and actually trained a little in that playstyle. My previous record in a scout suit and dual scramblers are 42-2, so I know I can do it. - It took me 3 hours to edit that vid and thats more than enough time spent on my part to anwer this silly mess. - I've noticed a trend here, the ones screaming the loudest on the forums, bragging the most, are normally the non-factors that nobody has ever heard off before. Don't be a forum Warrior! - Requesting me to go 35-5, a very good score for any suit IMO, in a purpusfully gimped out moronic setup, cause "thats what we do", just goes to show how stuck up some of Your guy are. And another thing, if going 24-2 that round was so easy that anyone could do it, why do I see so many scouts getting so many bad scores in similar games? In my experience most of the games I play in Dust are like this, 3 minutes of fighting and then 10 minutes on the redline. Its just the way of the game. So I can't help but Wonder, if going 24-2 or better vs scrub opponets is so very easy, how is it then that threre are so few scouts With a KDR of 5+? Yes they might get it in the face more often than the med suits but they should have plenty of games vs all the militia scrubs out there, and those games should boost that KDR no? All in all I am looking foreward to the New scut suits in 1.8. My point still stands though, I think at least the Galente suit is an excellent suit in its current state and many of the QQ threads made by many scouts on these forums appear to me now as WAAAA WAAAA whining by players being to focused on "being scouts" and too little on being soldiers.... I'm used to running 700-900 HP With rep hives, a CR, Duvolle or indeed the Amarr Assault Imperial combo. I'm not exactly used to running speedy low HP fits. Just pay attention to how bad I fire the pistols sometimes during that round, give me a week With a fit like this and I'm personally convinced that I could make it work. Naturally, going up face to face vs a galente logi standing on two triage hives and a proto CR or RR, or a similar stacked situation I don't expect to do very well. Its a scout suit and one shouldn't expect that of it anyways... +1 For typing in a mature balanced manner. You're here to argue, not to do whatever you can to put me Down, I have enough of those.... In any case, yeah I can definately see that as a major flucking problem for all who tries to sneak about. Its a long time ago but I remember ending the third beta build with a 2.71 KDR going scout and scrambler pistols. But back then the pistol had 120 M range and a sight much like the old laser sight, just a single blue dot that turned red on enemies, brilliant. I remember some golden moments were I gor sniped and lost 95% of my hp followed by a 180 degree bunnyhop and a quickscoppe headshot kill at 100+ meters, those were the days.... Its funny how both Rafa, Extacy, Tosh and many more, you know, good players, continue to dominate with this suit just as they do with their tanked assault and logi suits. - I have no SP in the Minmatar scout suit and the respec is tomorrow, no time or indeed willingness from me to spend skillpoints into something just to give some random forum warrior his will. - LOL @ your "with two guns that will drop a heavy in a clip", cause you know, you gotta relaod that shotty several times to take one down, and the NK needs to cool down..... I used a 630 HP suit, and I haven't been close to a 40-2 score, that was an older number, around 30-3 I think is the best in 1.7. And furthermore, I said: For me this suit seems fine the way it is, I've seen QQ for a year and I wonder why, or indeed if it's been legit. - Some people come with constructive replies like the previous scanning mechanics and the reduction of AA.
