I think its a bug that shows u spawning on a pad but really u spawn somewhere else......I think

I refuse to believe the whole "Smart Deploy spawns me on an Uplink" bug actually exists until someone makes a video of it.
I have NEVER had this happen to me.
When there is an Uplink on the field and I hit Smart Deploy, the spawn timer does display on the Uplink, but I've NEVER actually spawned on the Uplink unless I actually choose to spawn on it intentionally.

Idk. Whenever I press smart deploy, it spawns me on an uplink.

You either get farmed by a limited supply of uplinks, or get farmed by smart deploy.

It spawns you where there are a bunch of blues. Links usually go where they won't be seen from far away, which means cover. Blues spawn, go 5 feet and then dig in. Next thing you know you're smart deploying on them. It only looks like it's putting you on the link.
This is why you place multiple links. The whole point is to give a way to spawn away from the blob. |

Are you 100% sure about that? It will display what looks on the map like you spawning on an Uplink, but it actually just smart deploys you. I agree that this messed up display needs to be removed, though.
