This is an apology to any new players who read the forums. I was once one of you and I'm still not that good honestly. My basic logi suit used to suffice for running pub matches. We were once on equal footing and I enjoyed being stomped with you. Since the most recent SP event I have been forced to upgrade to my advanced gear just to stay alive. Every match I have played in the last week has had at least one squad of protostompers, either newly infected or just the same old d-bags.
So I am officially apologizing to you for leaving your ranks and killing you so easily now. Know this: Protostompers still kill me with ease, it just takes a little longer and I get more of them. So you will be avenged (repeatedly...) and I vow that you will never see me in proto gear in a PUB match. You lives will get better. Just keep fighting.

P.S. I hearby swear as a new player friendly merc that if I find a proto wearing, proto or thales using sniper I will kill that SOB no matter how much I die trying. This I swear.

New players don't use the forums. This is bitter-vet territory. Each has his own disappointment with the game. Mine, for example, is bad mouse controls.
NK Scout, you ask if I need ISK every week but I never seem to get any.

I have an alt that I hadn't used until the event, I sunk my 2 million into biotics, armor, shields, and assault rifle and SMG and have decided to play only in starter suits with this alt., I have killed many protos already and it is great fun not really caring if they kill me as long as I can kill them. I spent more than 2 M and it is actually a reasonably competitive suit now. I will soon have every skill that can benefit this suit and look forward to joining my noob brethren in this glorious quest.
Because, that's why.

I haven't done anything with it yet, but if it's like you say, then other players are doing the same. I might have to upgrade to stay alive also.

Protostomping isnt a sin. As a merc I am contracted by imaginary corps through public contracts. I simply use the best I got  to win |

What if you aren't actually killing anyone but in self defense?
I've the right to defend myself when i'm attacked.
Other than that my main weapon is a Pro rep tool.
I game over like a boss.

I only put away my advanced because the RR,CR spam.... And even then the adv RR still out DPSs my duvolle:(

Your not the ones I have issues with. Its the slayers that go 30/0. I'm a logi as well.

Ak.0 gets an awesome bonus to weapons though.
But to be fair the only assault suit that's worth anything is the Caldari Assault.
Other than that Logistics beats all of them, no competition.
