Go play PC and be an assault, your ROLE is to be a frontline combatant.

Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Easy to calculate: time rotation rate for suit+weapon, pick a range, and you'll see that no suit in the game can out strafe or out run gun tracking.
But some players can out-strafe other players by messing with their heads/expectations - the ability to do that is purely skill-based and does not happen without practice.
But speed-tanking as we're using it here is about getting from cover to cover and the ability to get the hell out of a bad spot pronto. That's it. The sloth mechanic is some magic slow spell that CCP applies whenever a suit is touched by an incoming round - it's flat out silly.

Speed tanking should only work against slow-tracking turrets; in any other cases, it's just unrealistic and stupid.

Oh and this game has plasma rifles, railguns etc. I think its safe to say this game wasn't realistic to begin with

yeah--theres no point in high move speed if you can get killed by a fool spraying until they hit you once so that you slow down and then lock onto you. HMG is by far the worst though. And glitches terrain is pretty ******* annoying too

All I know is if the slow-down effect and bullet magnetism were removed, then I could easily dodge aim assisted weapons.

I couldn't agree more. This mechanic ruins the gameplay. I even tried to make a thread like this the first week they introduced this and a CPM tried to tell me that there is no Impulse effect that slows us down and that i am imagining this or that I was lagging.......... shows you how much CPMs actually play this game..

Speed tanking should be a viable option in all honesty. Otherwise there really is no point in running a scout if everything is medium suit speed and slower.

Snaring effects, sprint bugs and terrain glitches, I hate them all. Please make them go away.
Fun fact! The sprint bug is easily reproducible through these steps:
Hold down shift. Hold down W. Press the right mouse button. Release the right mouse button.
Congratulations, you are now moving as fast as a heavy walks while your stamina is being drained! Oh this can happen when you fire a weapon or equipement as well. Fun stuff, fun stuff, no?
Before the "fix" to sprint-cancelling the post-fire animation of weapons and equipment (active scanners especially) you would just go back to sprinting.
