Why spec into a med suit and put on profile dampeners in the lows, when you can just get a complex one for free on the gal scout, while having faster speed and more fitting space. I will spec back into assaults at a later time, when they are viable again (and I have collected SP for it) Drop it like its hat.

Also gallente profile > all. the best thing about these fits is you can replace plates with dampeners as nessesary. that and you would have to make sure you get the kill in before they turn around, becuase with that HP advantage things could get messy. a brick tanked caldari scout however now THATS scary.

Not only could a Cal scout get the drop on you, but your gun isn't even out. Should be fairly easy to get in two shotgun shots on such a target.

I miss the older days of gaming where this type of thinking was non existent. i dont think you understand human nature, this type of thinking has always existed and is partly responsible for our success as a species. in the earlyest days of gaming the games were made for practiceing usefull life skills such as hunting or gathering. and this type of thinking to get every extra edge was nessesary for survival as every edge you could get meant a higher chance of survival and the propagation of offspring.

(I dont think the strafe speed matters as much as the hitbox size when strafing.) Why do people keep forgetting about the hit box size of heavies being HUGE? Also their head hitbox is also HUGE.
