I've had times where people ram my Myron with an assault dropship because they can't hit me enough to take me down into armour... and then I get cocky and get shredded by a incubus with a prototype railgun and lvl 5 Sees prototompers... Consider instead to have them self-explode if they exceed a certain speed. That would make it tricky for people to use LAVs with REs because they'd have to carefully control their speed so they wouldn't blow up. By calling out jihad jeeps, you are stating there their is a bug/Buff/error/etc to either remote explosives or lavs. Fortunately, LAVs are working as intended and remote explosives are working as intended. I thought this was another QQ thread. But you say after fixing AV, so here's my honest response. Once AV is fixed, impact should not set off RE's. However, I think drive-and-ditch RE-LAV's should be a thing still. LAV's need to roll a set distance based on the speed they are moving before they come to a stop (like a vehicle would IRL, not this "coast-5-feet-and-stop" crap we have now). This way you can bail out and set off the RE's. It would take timing, aim, speed calculation and a bit of luck to get it right. It would be much more challenging than our current JLAV's, but it would not invalidate the idea altogether. Just my 0.02isk. Thanks for pushing for balance. o7 MAG ~ Raven

After I read the title, I was thinking REALLY you want to gimp my one type of AV?! But no I do agree, after AV is fixed, then yeah Jihad Jeeps can go away. I do think that will happen naturally though, people will revert back to the real AV ways, except a few hold outs. However I do like the portion that Soraya said, it's a sort of adaptation to AV, since ours essentially got ravaged. A problem was proposed we found an, albeit dirty, solution.

I just wanted to bring emphasis to the fact that only the the jihad works, everything else sucks; it shouldn't be removed because it shows how far we will go to achieve a goal. For the Federation!
