According to the Internet, you are correct. I've seen the / notation used in pretty much any fanfic that involved completely non-canon relationship pairings, and figured the term referred to all of them. I'm deciding it's a point of pride that I'm not well versed enough in slashfic to know the definition of the term. :) I'd like to be your CPM1 candidate

So here's my question: how're you gonna keep from snapping a rod if you're elected to the CPM when CCP is being particularly obstinate about something, or you find yourself confronted with the limitations of the CPM's role? Because if you're snapping, your input will basically be lost as CCP will just listen to the other members, paying no mind to you. Can you summon the patience needed in the face of outright stupidity?

I usually do this by stepping away for a day and coming back. In the most recent instance I was taken aback by seeing the same topic discussed a second time when the previous discussion had an outcome opposing it. As a player, having a forceful stance on an issue is important personal view points. As a representative it shouldn't be my job to force my personal opinion. In those instances where I'd be so vocal in a blue-post discussion I'd be in the position of looking for people to convince me of the most desired and, separately, the best constructed opinions because I should be relaying the communities opinions and representing them. The situation would be very different, instead of applying my own posts I'd be looking for people that had ideas in-line with my own and explain why I support their posts. I have been trying to promote cost effective fits and seeing how effective you can be with lower ISK expenditures. Recently on Crash Gaden, my second main, I have been running the following fit: Standard Sentinel (Dren BPO) 2x Militia Armor Repair Militia Shield Extender HMG, Militia SMG, Flux Grenade. Since I have the BPO it costs me only 3810 ISK. Having to buy the Standard Sentinel suit adds 3000 ISK, but even at 6810 you can purchase 14 copies of the fit for under 100K ISK. I also tell people that running the cheap fit is good training, as it will make you better with the expensive suits when you decide to use them. Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.
