Instead the Vlog'ers and CEOs or training corps get that respect. You might not get famous doing the 1 on 1 work, but I could not do what I do, without 20 or 30 people doing what you do.
I put a lot of time and effort into getting new players in touch with veterans like you who volunteer their time to helping the new guys out. In this way I can insure that hundreds of new players get the help they need, but without the veteran volunteers providing the 1 on 1 work I would be stuck doing everything 1 on 1 myself and would only be able to help a handful of new players.
I am completely dependent on, and extremely grateful to, veteran volunteers such as yourself for providing this service to the community. Thank you.

He said something about how the game had improved since April. Being the bitter vet, and in typical Appia fashion, I posted a reply about the length of this OP criticizing the changes, blaming it on them specifically, and calling that Dev names and insulting him. Result: 6 month forum ban.
I hope this does not disqualify you. I would love to see an INTJ in the race.

During the Biomassed Podcast you mentioned that you are trying to fight the GÇ£Go Proto or Go HomeGÇ¥ mentality.
I have noticed a lot of new players thinking that they need to get Proto gear to be viable. This has in tern lead to a dramatic increase in begging, since they canGÇÖt finance the Proto fits with what they make in Public matches.
I have been trying to promote cost effective fits and seeing how effective you can be with lower ISK expenditures. Recently on Crash Gaden, my second main, I have been running the following fit:
Standard Sentinel (Dren BPO) 2x Militia Armor Repair Militia Shield Extender HMG, Militia SMG, Flux Grenade.
Since I have the BPO it costs me only 3810 ISK. Having to buy the Standard Sentinel suit adds 3000 ISK, but even at 6810 you can purchase 14 copies of the fit for under 100K ISK. I also tell people that running the cheap fit is good training, as it will make you better with the expensive suits when you decide to use them.
