Probably the sudden turn of events I suppose. I mean lets put this in a historical perspective. The Byzantine Empire asks the Pope to call a crusade on the Saracens to relieve pressure on their borders. Pope agrees and gets multiple Catholic nations to fight for the holy land! Byzantium is overjoyed now that they dont have to do everything themselves. Crusaders realize "Hey, Constantinople is full of gold and stuff". *Crusader camp outside of Constantinople* Now Byzantium have their capital under siege and numerous Saracens attacking their empire. Help turns into a sudden loss of your Capital and Byzantium scrambles to rebuild before they're done in. Does this help? Was NF contracted to fight vs RA in these past few weeks or did NF fight RA just to increase their stock of Districts? If you check the darkness you might find your answers. |

Byzantium essentially gave the Crusaders a contract of a 150,000 silver marks to help them against the Seljuks!
After planning was made the Crusader commander who was from Venice asked for the payment in order for assisstance.
Alexios refused to pay unless they were making considerable progress in the Holy Lands.
Venice wasn't happy since they organized the whole crusade only to get paid when blood was shed.
Boniface (Venetian Commander) said "Fine but were taking your city since you haven't paid what you owed".
Byzantium has 15,000 troops in their city when the crusaders siege the city with more than 40,000 and a fleet.
Boniface has meetings with the Seljuks and they insist on him sacking Constantinople while they are occupied.
I see It's all rather fitting isn't it? The Byzantine Empire = FA/Tso's Seljuks = AE/Renegade Crusaders = NF True, I;m not fond of any of those groups though I could make it much more relevant to the current situation and it would make so much sense that I would cry on how historically relevant current In-game events are to actual history. But I'm pretty sure people don't favor history lessons so I guess I shouldnt... I, for one, love history comparisons.

Maybe it wasn't Kam's strong point so maybe he didn't enjoy it like some others. I will refrain from such things in the future. I enjoyed it, wasn't expecting to learn so much from you Pal. I enjoyed it too ! |

Do you think people really get pissed over fighting video game wars over video money and video game land. and if people do then its time to step outside and see real life for a change. You must not play Eve. :P The truth is that the Eve guys in Tso's are actually thrilled that Kain stabbed us in the back (and we all knew it was coming anyway). Most of us were extremely unhappy with being paid in Monopoly-Money to orbit beacons for hours on end when they usually weren't resulting in any interesting fights. The Eve guys were getting nothing out of our relationship with Kain, and a lot of us were so frustrated because of it that it was reaching the point where whenever C00kie logged onto comms he was bombarded with a dozen people asking "Can we shoot NF yet?". Considering NF has the whole of... 2 pilots... what? They wanted to shoot up 2 people that badly they'd throw there Dust side under the bus?
Glad to see how family work in Tso. Lol? |
