What zatara has done with FA is solid trying to build up a top corp with only a core vet group and relying on newer/nonpc/lowersp is tough. What couldn't be overlooked is that NF are mercs and its about business and not personal feelings (it does feel good when feelings and isk are on the same side though) and Zatara has always wanted to go after AE. This would have conflicted with our business model and why FA has been and will be just NF frenemies like the rest of dust.
Every mercs life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and died that distinguishes one from another

I refuse to tell anyone to lose money on a fight that has been pre-determined due to lack of competent tankers, even with a number of armchair FC's including myself. The statement made by you was that application(s) were being rejected. No application was ever sent, however. That is called a lie.
This is because it had been discussed briefly, and shut down. Because it was a bad idea. Your alliance offers absolutely nothing that we cannot get from other sources. Public Disorder, and then General Tso's offered a unique relationship with a unique advantage over any other alliance on the field. We made the right call on that.
Now understanding that I am in a position to debunk your claim of applications being sent and rejected, you have changed your argument to "Well Zatara talked about it with us for a while" which is a lot different from us being ready to jump on board and had already applied. It never got that to that stage.
And finally, you are attempting to shift blame to Zatara with this mis-direction in an attempt to brew feelings of distrust within the organization.
I don't really enjoy this kind of meta. Most of it is incredibly transparent and boring. Particularly if you're going to be bad at it. |

Rather then a long reply let me break this down for you:
There is no system to apply to NF alliance. It's a simple ask and you will receive. Zatara asked, he did not receive. That's as good as an application as you can get. You can deny this point all you want, changes no facts. FA pursued entrance into NF and was told, very simply, no.
