Still, it does edge one piece of equipment away from supporting only killing to supporting a non-shooting role.
That's a HUGE thing for CCP and this game.
Up until now every single role boiled down to "Shoot the other guy in the face". Even dropships have nothing to do but help kill mercs. There's no need for transport and no in-game support for assembling assault squads.
So be happy CCP is inching toward diversity in roles. |
