I can see a lot more turrets getting blown up very quickly, not good for hacking objectives but don't expect to be able to hold on to cru's quite so much.

Non-bonus. Still, it does edge one piece of equipment away from supporting only killing to supporting a non-shooting role. That's a HUGE thing for CCP and this game. Up until now every single role boiled down to "Shoot the other guy in the face". Even dropships have nothing to do but help kill mercs. There's no need for transport and no in-game support for assembling assault squads. So be happy CCP is inching toward diversity in roles.
What CCP intends and what the community intends are two completely different things. The majority of scouts WILL be using cloaks to shoot people in the face. And it will happen throughout the first month of 1.8. |
