Reiselia actually is a good example of a logi because she spams uplinks and hives and IS an extra gun on the field. Me personally, I run bpo stuff in pubs usually because I have to pull out rail tanks to slaughter all the tankers that infest the match, but when im with nyain im running a logi, simply because I keep up scans 24/7 and lay nanohives at the end each spawn-fight so we're ready to go quickly enough to catch the next spawn, while uplinks are relatively useless. And in PC im spamming uplinks with dropships and scanning to take the highground spots and once that's established im spawing with heavies to be a MUCH needed extra city slayer. There is simply no room in dust for needles and rep tools in a competitive sense. If rep tools had godly rep rates and nanite injectors were 100%hp + restore all ammo+equipment, then they would be useful, but otherwise, they're completely inferior to slayers or equipment/scan spam logis that can hybridize as a slayer. Your post is making me facepalm very hard right now.
