out of all my dust career. i have never seen a thread in-game. why is this? do they not play dust?

I was in the Quafe event and I got to shoot several devs and blow them up with my MD...they were using quafe suits of course and I remember some of them had nova knifes...but still worth it.

If I were one of them, and trying to play this game, I would never do it in such a way that others could figure it out.

I don't play as much as I used to on "CCP Logibro." , but I play almost daily on my secret alts. And no, I'm not telling you their names or even giving hints as to who they are. IA would be very upset if I did so.

I squaded with a dev one morning just saw a sq in squad finder.
Another thing these guys are asleep during US prime due to timezones.
Also check out Dev Hangout chat channel I believe they squad in there.

I ran into logibro once on line harvest skirmish. He was at alpha, on the roof of the southern building.
He wasn't logi-ing. In fact, if I recall he was killing us with a mass driver. I was disappointed. |

They haven't played in the field as much lately. Maybe it's time for another shoot the dev event. They are popular and hard to get into but can be a lot of fun unless you are facing CCP Logibro. That guy is deadly. Aim for CCP Saberwing or CCP Frame instead.

I think it would help player morale if more devs were seen in game. Furthermore, I think players would be more active if there were randomly special contracts that would pop up under Other Contracts.
I got more ideas but I'll stop there.

The challenge with dev play, is when they kill you, it means a game developer just took away stuff you earned. Which is why they can't do FacWar or PC on their official characters.

Also there were those devs vs players matches late in closed beta. I killed wolfman and stole his gunnlogi. It had a large missile turret at the time when large missile turrets couldn't hit anything, so I spent the rest of the match roadkilling devs. |

I understand PC as that is corp vs corp but outside that an enemy is an enemy. As long as a dev didn't kill me with some specialized weapon only they have access to, I wouldn't mind. Then again, I likely wouldn't mind if I got killed by something new just to see something new.

Kinda. If we go about playing through normal gameplay (that is, not using 1337 dev hax) then it's fine: it's just like any other player. However there are issues with CCP Characters actually influencing the meta aspects (such as FW and PC)

Might be worth hiring a few good FPS players to done the CCP moniker in DUST 514.. make sure they have some talent not to misrepresent..
It's pretty huge for community morale.. seeing dev's in games.

They are restricted to Public Contracts, as CCP's policy is to remain neutral on affairs within New Eden.
