Dear Devs:
I would like to thank you for putting us, once more, at such a huge advantage over the lowly noobs and their 1-2 proto weapons and 1 suit.
We vets have at least 2 proto suits, maxed cores, likely 3-4 proto weapons, AND tanks or dropships at our disposal.
We are un-nerfable and we realize that you realize this. We appreciate you keeping the noobs down by forcing them to stay in their same under-powered fittings.
To all the noobs:
It sucks to be you. When My RR and CR are nerfed, and my Cal assault and logi suits roles are switched, I'll still be just as pubstompy as ever thanks to 2 suits that are prototype, my 300 mil ISK (on a bad day), and my proto SMG and Mass Driver...not to mention ridiculously overpowered tanks that are nigh unkillable by anyone who hasn't been tanking for the last year, straight.
Remember there is nothing you can do. There is no respec; there is no hope. Just sit back and watch the vets stomp all over you with our unn-nerfable powers. Why bother worrying about being FOTM when I already have it no matter what changes come? :P

Try and counter my; I dare you...with your 1 decent fitting....hahaha! I have more than I could possibly need!

LOL. I want a respec for I want to switch out one of my proto suits for another and maybe trade in 2 weapons for 2 of the new side arms. I have a proto suit for every class except scout. I have at least 6 proto weapons and but a few core skills that have not reached level 5 like hacking or hand to hand biotic for it seems a waste of SP to do so. Like you I do not need a respec, but i would love one for it would help me clean out the attic and make the game fun again by trying out new ideas and roles.

So true Charlotte. I disagree with you regarding the blaster tanks, but on this one I agree.
The only reason players are anti respec: they are trying to keep the advantage vs new players with low SP. They are so scared to be owned in a console game.

Funny attempt at reverse psychology. It should be pretty obvious to most that a respec would benefit those with more SP ore than those with less SP.
I don't care either way really, but there seems to be no good reason besides "we want a respec." The main thing seems to be a confusion about EVE players remapping attribute points and thinking they get SP respecs.
If we get one I will take advantage of it, but I wont cry for one. |
