These people just want total imbalance. The kind that is clearly out of whack and nothing more.
well then hopefully one day soon they stop playing! also if all snipers could be melee'd (meaning they can't hide behind the redline) we wouldn't have half a team of cowards farming an open objective in domination for the entire game.
how are you supposed to have fun when you're being killed by somebody who you can't get to or see?
Once they can't abuse crutches or spam OP things the people with no skill and no commitment will leave, good riddance!
We could all blame snipers for the redline and imbalanced teams... But in reality it isnt even the issue.
Not many people would sit in a redline if there was spots on the map for actual snipers... The maps are just horrific for creating balance... Separating mechanized units and infantry based units... Has no spots for snipers... Roads dead end out of no where.. Ladders lead to Moderately no where important or without any vantage points on objectives.
Massive buildings with verry little internal structure.. Most maps has a Clear advantageous side to start on... Turrets with terrible placements... You could spend half an hour everyday after play explaining why the maps are Moderately terrible in DUST...
All the room any developer could ask for making maps... Yet we have entire open fields without even a rock, a piece of grass.. nothing... An entire field the size of 90% of CoD maps... with Moderately nothing... Seriously? How could you ever call yourself passionate about what you do and leave that.
Thisss is why most people have lost faith in CCP shanghai.. It has nothing to do with anything other then passion.. You can tell me your passionate about a project until your blue in the face... But when you play games where the developers are passionate.... Those little details are what shines.. In DUST everywhere you look stuff is done half fast... incomplete... And without tack or forward thought..
and the Centralized things you should start building a FPS game on... Solid Aiming Mechanics... Solid Physics... Solid map design. Consistency in frame rates, Matchmaking... All these fundamental issues to making a FPS game are just crap... sorry to say... Even after a year of "Working" on them they have progressively got worse.. or ignored.
This is about actions... And no matter what words CCP has given us they have been a lie when measured to their actions.
