Oh yes, it's going to the bottom of the heap. Why should it be there? The reason is not SP, because the difference is so marginal if it even exists (which it doesn't, in many cases).

Considering the HMG is going to be pretty much de facto the most powerful infantry weapon in 1.8 and heavies are going to be spammed left, right and centre I don't think you have to worry about that.

You're completely right. That should absolutely mean that the weapon should be trash.

You're completely right. That should absolutely mean that the weapon should be trash. Darn right dont want to spend the sp you dont get the kills. Thats what this whole game is based on isn't it? Getting SP to get better gear to get an advantage on the bf. If there was no reason to skill into better gear we would all be running around in militia gear and have no reason to spend any isk or even gain sp's.
