Couldn't find much tank gameplay... but I figured I needed to put an enforcer tank in there... we all know we're never getting our Marauder tanks back :(

You do realized AV was extremely potent in 1.6, right? Like 4 swarms rounds to kill tanks..

Or the ability to not be able to see less than 50m
Or AV nades which cost 20k but can deal 2k+ dmg and take out your 1mil+ tank but thats fine but now that my tank can be 70k and take out your 100k protosuit its not fine

Or much of anything tbh from 1.0 onwards to the last day of 1.6
I do... the very first day of 1.7 I specced into shield tanks, I noticed they were extremely easy to fit, I had to make no sacrifices to keep my Ion cannon, I still had all proto modules. I called in my tank, drove to an objective, killed a few guys to the point where they brought out swarms... it was then when I realized that if one of my hardeners were on my tank was invincible to swarms ("balanced" and "fun"), I thought this was going to get patched come the next update... but considering it's been 3 months I've given up on the fact that CCP will do the right thing.
Anyway, back to the story, after that first game I squaded up with some corp mates and ran a few games that had to be the most boring games I've had in awhile compared to 1.6 it was not a challenge to survive, if I really wanted to I could just camp in one place for the entire game with little to no threat (again "fun"), tanking used to be a challenge, an extremely frustrating challenge, but a heck of a lot more fun than the crap we have now.
My point is, sure AV was god mode in 1.6, but thats what made it fun.
