Pretty excited to see what 1.8 actually has to offer. It looks like my Minmatar suits will finally be getting some love. CCP has done a few things right, after all the bitter vets still hang around. I've been here since E3 and I still don't really have any plans on going anywhere else. I got a ps4 with bf4 on, it really wakes you up to how dust progression is locked on a piece of sht console with less power than my phone. While playing bf4 I fantasise about it actually being dust and imagining how epic the 32 a side battles would be. Ccp could even keep the graphics low. Well, I am a MAG vet and the 256 player battles were amazing even with the glitches and lowered graphics. If they could fix all the memory leaks and whatnot I think that CCP could up the players per battle, but that really might not come until much later when it is eventually ported onto the PS4. With this 1.8 patch and increasing TTK (Which I'm totally excited about) I would like to see a few more options for mods to put into high slots, but this really isn't the thread to be discussing that. Over all I do think that CCP has done a decent job producing a F2P FPSMMO, especially considering its their first one, and one that holds as much potential as this one still does.
I used to play on private servers on pc that allowed the same numbers as mag on other games, ps2 should be epic on ps4 fr a short while.

This game is not free, it just has the free-to-play as an option...
Once you start hitting better & better competition, you'll shell out... because that's how CCP built the game. Get protostomped to the point you either quit or shell out for AURUM

There's no question that the game is cool and has potential and is different than others out there. But also can't ignore the fail ideas that has passed through this game.

shell out for AURUM... for what? it doesn't really get you anything new... as a matter of fact it is only there as a shortcut if you feel so inclined, as for having to do so when coming across better and better competition, that's what your SP and time are for yes it takes FOREVER to get all that far into the skill tree in this game but really you can get "balls deep" in SP with no effort, make a character set passive sp walk away for a few months and BAM!!!! loads of sp.
This game is NOT pay to win.
It is better to be thought an idiot, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
