For a free to play game that is connected to an enormous MMO on PC it is a pretty amazing game. No matter what happens in Dust's future, it will never satisfy everyone and there will be thousands of complaints following each patch.
However, the secret to happiness is wanting the stuff you have and not something that you will have in the future.
CCP did an amazing job at creating a first person shooter that is free to play on a network that does not charges any fees.
This is game is not perfect, but if you stop looking at the imperfections and just play the game with your friends, not for the sake of getting a proto suit, but for the sake of having a good time, this game is pretty fun.
CCP, you guys are awesome and I thank you for taking the time to design a game that is free, fun and with limitless potential. |

Yeah must be new. He'll get to the point where the imperfections are that bad that you can't avoid them.
Player trading - 2 years still nothing
Pve - 2 years still nothing
Player market - 2 years still nothing
Many more things - 2 years still nothing
Luckily iv been here a year so iv not waited as long as others but considering how annoyed I'm getting, I can only imagine how the 2 year vets feel about SIMPLE FKING SHT THATS NOT YET ADDED.

In fact from what I see, most 2 year vets just play the forum, I think around 8 actually play the game still.

In all seriousness though, I do still rather enjoy this game, otherwise I wouldn't be playing it. Pretty excited to see what 1.8 actually has to offer. It looks like my Minmatar suits will finally be getting some love.
CCP has done a few things right, after all the bitter vets still hang around. I've been here since E3 and I still don't really have any plans on going anywhere else.

That last part was an actual serious question. I have no idea what the CPM is or does. All I know is that you have a white tag, and have posted some information about some upcoming election.
To the other guy, I'm nobodys alt. I just dont generally post on the forums unless its to join in in some trolling *Kind of like my first post here* or someone actually posts something interesting, or like this case I can maybe learn something new about this game.
Are there really that many people here who get on a different character to post in the forums? Why? Not like it really matters anyway. |

I got a ps4 with bf4 on, it really wakes you up to how dust progression is locked on a piece of sht console with less power than my phone.
While playing bf4 I fantasise about it actually being dust and imagining how epic the 32 a side battles would be. Ccp could even keep the graphics low.

Well, I am a MAG vet and the 256 player battles were amazing even with the glitches and lowered graphics.
If they could fix all the memory leaks and whatnot I think that CCP could up the players per battle, but that really might not come until much later when it is eventually ported onto the PS4.
With this 1.8 patch and increasing TTK (Which I'm totally excited about) I would like to see a few more options for mods to put into high slots, but this really isn't the thread to be discussing that.
Over all I do think that CCP has done a decent job producing a F2P FPSMMO, especially considering its their first one, and one that holds as much potential as this one still does.

Although I applaud your positivity I do feel that you will become bitter after finding out the huge potential Dust has and the very little of it your exposed to. CCP seem to like making and breaking promises. Watch a couple of the older trailers and you'll see alot is hinted at and very little is actually given to us.
Try and stay positive though, The Dust community is in dire need of it  |

You'll see a community full of pessimism, negativity, hatred towards each other and hatred towards CCP...many here berate and belittle each other, the devs, the game, its future. It is quite possibly one of the most fowl smorgesbord of d1cks and dousches I've ever encountered in a forum...
But there are cool people too who aren't bitter and jaded (see my sig  ) and have a similar attitude of yours. People who can still play games to have fun without getting overly attached to the point of bitterness. I agree as well with the OP this game is an awesome game, and for a free to play it has lots of support from the Devs. Most free to play games have very little support from the Devs (games that I have encountered any way) the game is fun and the people I play with at least are pleasant and helpful.
The community here just wants to make a big deal of everything. Unfortunately one of the down sides of being a fps community there are a lot of trolls and young players that think being mean or rude is funny, so they say stuff on here they would never have to "hutzpah" to say in person .
Like I always say anonymity breeds courage.
It is better to be thought an idiot, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
