Whatever floats your boat, there is no wrong choice, except for the Assault suit and Plasma cannon, that's a wrong choice.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Yup, I too am investing my skill points into the assault suit. I won't use it for a while, but when it's back, I will have access to it and laugh at peasants who abandoned the assault suit to become assault scouts/logis/heavies.

Still, won't make much of a difference with TTK increased and scouts getting an extra slot. Plus they're faster, got more CPU/PG, get a second equipment, CLOAKS, inherently hide from advanced scanners (and proto with dampening maxed), higher stamina and stamina regen, more scan range and precision (this time around, the range isn't stupidly short).
Paying 100 HP and a single slot for all of that? Catch my drift?

True enough but any scout just tanking their suit is not an effective scout Just because FoTm user will abuse it, as they do Scouts actually work with this layout, the Minja has been crying out for that extra low slot And for guys that actually perform their role, it is essential As this is where you buff speed/dampeners.. Scouts will be abused, but I'm sure CCP will do something so you can go back to abusing in your Assault fits without complaint ... In Dust514 we don't get to keep new toys, you all break them Problem is, if the assault suit is deadly, it's doing it's job, hence it's not abusing it.
If a logi does it, then it becomes a problem It's relative.
