Honest question...
which of the 1 do you deam is the only competitive one?
Cause good luck killing my SCR with your rail. Charge shot pop in and out of cover before you can even spool your .25 shots.
Good luck killing my CBR with your SCR, ill flux and insta pop you with 100 damage per burst.
Good luck killing my rail with your CBR, ill keep my distance and put you out of your optimal.
Good lucking killing my SCR with your raill....
Wait. What just happened there? Oh right, those 3 guns are pretty amazingly balanced and it comes down to play style, skill and situation. Right... my bad. |

ScR makes sense. You nerf it too much and you run the risk of causing overheats before players can kill thier target even if they don't miss. A 10% nerf to the Scr is probably more of a pain than a 15 to RR or cr because it'll increase your likely hood to overheat. Same logic for RR and cr. cr now does less damag per clip so increased odds of reload duri g a fight. RR has plenty of damage per clip to spare so it isn't as impacted on that front. |

Mass driver should NEVER outshine an AR. Its an AOE weapon. It should always lose 1on1 to a direct damage weapon because of its ability to hit multiple people and ability to cause damage by simply hitting near someone. If the MD or other AOE weapons get close to the strength of direct damage weapons the game becomes unplayable.
See the flaylock era.
The reason being, the AOE weapon only becomes stronger as you add numbers. So if the AOE weapon wins 1on1, then it wins even more 2on2 and it destroys 3on3 and it isnt even touched 4on4. The damage multiplies as you add forces to each side.
SO lets say the MD dps is 600 (it isnt) and the AR is 600.
1on1 we have a tie.
2on2 each MD user hits two AR users while each AR hits one MD. MD wins 2400 total damage in a second to 1200 for the AR.
3on3 each MD hits 3 while each AR hits 1. MD wins 5400 to 1800.
4on4 each MD hits 4 while each AR hits 1. MD wins 9600 to 2400.
Do you see how that grows? Even if the MD is substanially weaker 1on1, it can reach a critical mass where it wins the engagement. If it wins 1on1 that gets out of hand incredibly quick. |
